It is cruel, but also, strictly speaking the law is being adhered to.

I'd certainly be f**ked off if City had been penalised similarly, but I don't really know how they can introduce a modicum of common sense into the equation, especially when there are these directives being foisted upon referees from FIFA. In cricket at least, there is a certain allowance for mistakes in LBWs, with 'Umpires Call' being used for marginal decisions.
I understand the need to be accurate and correct, but when it's just creating more debate and controversy it's all a bit of a f**k up, intut?
