While I disagree with generational stereotyping

Older generations seem less tolerant of bad language (and tone) but mind less about content.

Younger generations seem to flip that around.

As someone in the middle I think that the drift is right. I'm more concerned with what people say than the way they say it.

Both matter, of course.
