I've lost two and a half stone smug running but have hit a plateau. I run 30-33 miles each week and can't really increase it; I also lift (light) weights a few times a week and walk a fair bit. Issue is that the plateau is about a stone more than I "should" be. I've cut down the booze quite drastically (to no real effect) so I'm thinking I either do something else dietwise, or just say f**k it I'm going to die of something or other whatever I do and just keep running and live with being a stone or so over. A 5:2 style thing is what I need though as it's easy to administer and I'm no good faffing about with food groups or all of that.
