No offence taken

I used to go an independent optician on Fleet Street. Last time I walked out £900 lighter after varifocals, anti-fog, anti-dazzle, thinner lenses blah blah. “Never again”, I thought.

Just got a new pair - bought the frames (same ones!) online, got the lenses (same ones!) from Specsavers - total £370, which is still a lot but a lot less!
