The Good Friday agreement will remain in place whatever is agreed

And to be honest having read it as far as I can see it doesn’t actually prevent us from having a customs border in Ireland if it’s needed despite the way it is portrayed.

The EUs position on the backstop is and always has been manifestly unreasonable. It should stay in there in some form I but it needs to be changed so there is a way out if we as a sovereign state decide we wish to leave it.

Interesting to see Barniers choice of words on it this morning. Did not rule out any changes at all just said it needs to remain “credible”
