sell a championship playoff winner's medal for a few hundred quid?

I moved to live in Germany for 7 months a couple of years ago (knew I was coming back) and all the stuff I couldn't deal with losing if my flat in NL burned down or was burgled while I was away, I put into a friend's cellar during that time. I found myself leaving expensive items like TVs and computers and nice clothes at home but all my sports medals, all at far lower levels than that, went into storage for safe keeping. The memories, the work done by your team mates and you (perhaps not by Lafferty), the emotion of winning at any level is absolutely priceless.

Sorry. Don't get it.
