I'd agree with most of that, but this has been brought about by the rapidity

with which the nomination has been pushed forward, obviously as Trump & co want to get their man in before the midterms.
Had they done things in an appropriately careful and unhurried manner, these claims could've been adequately investigated without having to make ridiculous theatre of both the women's claims and his defence.

It's turned into a proper s**tshow now which does the US no good at all and certainly isn't doing much good for women's rights at the moment, unless you say that the shortfalls of their s**tty biased anti-women system is being laid bare for all to see
