No offense, but you clearly either haven't read the paper, or haven't understood it

More likely not bothered to really read it, as the calm and careful analysis of what the evidence actually is on immigration doesn't fit with your strongly held prior that immigration is really really important to jobs/wages.

The analysis in the paper looks at the overall effect of immigration region by region, over time, running a wealth of cross checks and test, and the results are clear. What's happened to wages and employment is the GFC, not immigration.

Your anecdotal "i visit building sites..." is one tiny tiny element of a complex inter-related economy.
