Dear Norwich - thank you for the loss, so I can drip on about patience again

But a few points for your manager to note.

1. Losing is all well and good - however there were periods where it wasn't certain. May I suggest:
1a) passing sideways a bit more, right from the start.
1b) less shouting
1c) dithering even more.

2. Slow, ineffective football is a great idea. But try and be less attacking from the first whistle. This means you will look even less exciting! Although do also bear in mind:
2a) afterwards you may be able to blame the fact that our opponents ran forward in numbers and at pace, which was obviously very unfamiliar to you
2b) whatever happens you will be relentlessly defended on WOTB as being a work in progress

3. Get the team and tactics wrong immediately. But remember:
3a) sadly, sometimes the other team/manage may be just as incompetent as you. Hurrah for Preston!
3b) if you *do* get the team right, the manager will usually be able to sort that out with substitutions
