Another story from Chase's time

October 1995, Charlton away. Big Bob travels to the game on the train, from Charing Cross. This is a few months after relegation; 2 months before O'Neill leaves and the protests/boycotts really begin.

Yet is anyone in the carriage anything other than polite towards him? No. I was so proud of that - but it was so instructive at the same time. Nice fans, nice Chase, nice club. That's us. Almost always has been since I started following the club in early 1989.
