I've also been around a long time and agree with you...

....in fact I go can back as far as the mid 60's and the first top flight promotion under Ron Saunders. Never missed a game from 71 - 80 but moved away from Norfolk then so most games since then I've seen live have been away from home. Only NCFC players from the era I grew up in (different game of course) that I would compare Maddison with are Graham Paddon and Kevin Reeves, but yeah on reflection I would also go with saying he might well be the best ever player we have ever had.
