Some will accuse me of hyperbole SWEEPING STATEMENT ALERT

Well, not sweeping, but anyway. I’ve been going to Norwich games since 1975 and a season ticket holder since summer 1992, so I’ve seen a lot of players come and go. I’d say he’s the best player I’ve seen play for us. Yes, there have been those who’ve played for better NCFC teams, in a higher division, for longer, who’ve scored more goals, assisted more and been more successful by other metrics, but he’s the most skilful, aware and talented Norwich player I’ve seen. Therefore by my reckoning the best.

Yes, better than Bellamy, Crook, Sutton, Huckerby, Wes... maybe Martin Peters in his pomp, but he wasn’t when I saw him, even though he was great.
