Anyone on here switched from Sky to Virgin?

What pitfalls should be avoided? Is one worse than the other?

My Sky+ box has died after many years of service and I'm wondering whether to switch or not. I don't like giving money to Murdoch via Sky but it's effective at providing broadband and TV, which you basically need (I know you don't really, first world problems etc and Branson isn't far off Murdoch in many ways but let's let that pass shall we, as I do want to use the internet and watch football?). Is the Virgin experience OK?
