I do think Wes and Madds on the pitch together hasn't worked well

They tend to get in each other's space.
AN sent Madds out on loan because he wouldn't put him in ahead of Wes. DF has taken the opposite view.
If we had seen more of Wes this season it would probably have meant we wouldn't have enjoyed seeing Madds develop so much in what will probably be his only full season with us.
