appears to be about 10% less than we will have invested. We have been putting £50 a month away for the children for about 13 years now - it should mature in 2021 but the projection seems to be we will get less back that we invested. We were classed as risk adverse so I wasn't expecting a huge amount but was expecting to, at the very least, get back what we will have put in. It appears I would have been better digging a hole in the garden and popping money in a tin every month then burying it!
For the other investment it was £100 a month that I was looking to mature at 55 to give me a few options at that stage - but again the investment appears to be projecting 10% less than the amount we will have invested. I am now debating whether it is worth cutting losses on it, cashing it in and investing the money in to an isa or something for the remaining 11 years.
