Nope. I'm in the foreign investment *could* be a good thing camp

It depends on who the investors are and what that investment involves.

Football is a rapidly growing, ever more competitive global industry. In such an environment, clubs which overreach themselves and make bad investment and ownership decisions will, at some point, pay the price. However, clubs which are terrified of anything other than the tried and failed will also fail.

Clubs which keep an open mind - which don't act impetuously, but don't shut themselves off to all possibilities either - are the ones which will have a chance of succeeding. Our very attitude - stop the world, we want to get off - is what gives us no chance.
