I waited 20 weeks for an urgent appointment with a cardiologist

However, now I have seen him and am in the system, the follow ups like 48hr monitor and MRI scan seem to be happening. No idea what will happen if it's deemed that I need surgery though. I have read though, that the North West is one of the better performing trusts
My sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has already had the relevant surgery and waiting for post op radiotherapy to start next week.
