it's a symptom of the board rewarding faliure after all

that's the message they gave us - "we're sticking with Nigel even though the results are s**t" so it follows that you stick with players like Hughes coz you like their work ethic blah blah despite the fact he's playing badly.

Competitive sport is about winning - something the Board and Nigel Worthington seem to forget.
