I remember when I used to listen in 1958/59 city's cup run on the light programme

In front of the fire in my pyjamas and dressing gown as a 6/7 year old. Was allowed to stay up and wait for my dad to come home from carrow road to our lovely old slum house in foulgers opening about 10 mins walk away! Being allowed to stay up was the highlight then, more than the football!
Used to stand outside in the back yard listening to On the ball city being sung properly too!
Back to the post...BBC2, Discovery, Channel 4. Was talksport til Murdoch took over, Radio 2 and Radio Norfolk. Hope not too many words but felt a little nostalgic!
