He's Worked for same employer over ten years.
He is very good at what he does. But paid more than employees who do similar due to his length of service. He looks after chicken sheds full of thousands of birds.
The company are removing two managers for the two farms and replacing with 1 to run both. The other manager didn't apply, my mate did.
He's been told he's not got it and they are readvertising. Seems bloody harsh on him as he is v hard worker and won't even leave the site when his chicken sheds are full for ten weeks or so. Can he do anything? Is that fair of them or constructive dismissal? He might have to move from Norfolk to Devon for another company if so.
