Same here,

Australia started to build the NBN (national broadband network), a forward thinking, high speed fibre optic broadband network to connect almost everyone in the country with a modern, future proof internet. Then big Malcom and his LNP cronies got involved and they decided that actually copper is the way to go because it's cheaper and most households don't need the speed that fibre produces. This despite the fact that streaming services are growing like wildfire and downloading of content is higher here than most of the developed world, even though we have a crap setup at present.

The government are so out of touch with modern day life that it's laughable. Now they are pushing people to grow an 'innovative, modern business', 'jobs and growth' all on an Internet connection that is barely suitable for 10 years ago, let alone for what may come in the next 10.

Why are we all governed by f**kwits? How do these people get in power? (Apart from a couple of wristy's and the odd shot on the chin)
