Well lets wait and see (which is really what everyone should be doing). The

key point is that we have not left and any non retarded PM is not going to take us out unless we have an exit agreement that is as beneficial as possible for the country. That's what makes me nervous about Leadsom as I think that it would be a fundamental mistake to invoke Article 50 before we have our exit agreement (or at least a framework agreement) in place with the EU.

I don't agree that the leaders are saying clearly we won't get that sort of deal. Junker and Shultz (whose only interest is to fuerther their European project) may be but the actual leaders or senior politicians in most of the 27 states are making quite different noise. I suspect some of them would also like to see some adjustment to freedom of movement rules and I think that point is the one it all hinges on. We will have to have significant "freedom of movement" in some form but that phrase is capable to encompassing differing arrangements.
