Wrath help required: travelling alone

I dont mean backpacking or trekking in outer thailand. None of that s**t, happy to stay in hotels etc seeing capital cities and the like.

Anyone done it? Pros/cons, pitfalls etc. Thinking of getting out and visiting one or two places latter part of the year maybe next uear
