Only thing I had when he passed was a tremendous amount of rage

which was triggered by people pretending to care on fb, but not enough to show up for a drink (they only found out the news from siblings feeds too, I don't use facebook for personal things)

Once that passed with support from real friends I've always chatted about him regularly "oh my Dad has those at home, he collects them" etc etc

I remember seeing my favourite band 2 weeks after he passed and after about half way through started crying uncontrollably, but in a good way. I felt like I was telling him I was getting on with everything and not getting down
