Yep, although 'thanks to Sky' in this discussion is possibly shorthand...

for tv and tv money anyway. The debate is disruption and cost v quality of product and competitiveness. Sky, as you say, happen to be in the chair.

But all good and ills don't rest at their doors and I suppose we should be grateful to the Premier League and the strength/history of the Football League, that we have parachute payments and don't have club by club negotiations.
