I'm not blaming Neil

at least not for the most part; the players are clearly more to blame imo. However, Neil has also not been able to find a solution for our defensive weaknesses. It's all well and good him putting his head in his hands - when Jerome misses a sitter, but no team fighting relegation can afford to concede the amount of goals that we do and stay up.

And the overall point is that the performances have not been good this year, regardless of who is responsible for that. We've put together some nice play at times, but it will continue to count for little until we stop conceding so many.
