Me and my ex wife worked our nits off and spent most of our married life in debt (,not helped by 16% mortgage interest rates) to get our house. I only have mine because my dad worked his bollox off and my mum and dad died relatively eerly.
He should try visiting the homes with my partner and the bread line, lonely and deserted elderly peope she visits
