Lambert had 4 years' experience at various clubs prior to coming to us and then had 2 years to form a team before hitting the Premier League.

Neil had less than 2 years' experience at 1 club and 6 months with us having inherited someone else's team.

Not really a fair comparison is it?

Neil will be fine given time. If we'd bought our targets in the summer, we'd be having a different conversation entirely.
