That is what has grown up around this now, you can see it all over the posts following the game, and the weeks since.
The point, i think, was to show our record isn't that uncommon statistically. It could well be the worst but it doesn't stick out, its not as if ALL similar clubs have progressed significantly further on a regular basis.
Our record has been poor, and there are games where we have put out changed teams.
However it staggers me that people can genuinely believe that Alex Neil walked into the dressing room before the Man City game and said:
"Don't worry too much about this one lads, take it easy, just make sure it doesn;t look like you're taking it easy"
Cause if you believe the club was happy to go out, our aiming to go out then a version of that would have to have happened.
If, like me, you can't see that for one second and believe AN demands we look to win every game we play, then there is no 'bad attitude' to the FA cup. The game was approached the right way, we played poorly and lost.
