I've got my tin hat firmly on here because I've seen a few posts praising his performance last night...
I thought he was awful. A couple of flick-ons and moments of strength holding the ball up apart he was terrible. His movement was poor, he didn't seem to offer an option when we had the ball in decent positions. He didn't appear to be mobile enough to play the one up role and obviously lacks pace. He seemed to want the ball played in exactly where he was and was more interested in pointing where it should have gone. I maybe being incredibly harsh( I have only seen the goal once) with this but I also thought if he had anticipated a little better he could have had a chance of winning the ball for their second killer goal. Last night showed me the need for a mobile striker with some decent movement. I'm sure many will disagree with my assessment of Mobokani last night, but that is the beauty of football!
