He's hardly a brown noser, certainly not a yes man. Decent bloke, know him fairly well

In that I've spent a few hours with him in the last couple of years a few times. I have to say I think he is good bloke.

The problem with honours is that it's arguable liberal Norman Lambs work with mental health is bigger and more deserving. Wife has also been to parliament a few times at his request to discuss cancer care recently and he works his nuts off health of people.

Over the honours this year they seem to have the balance wrong and it does tories no favours.
