The worst bit was when he said 'the lad who's just come on'

Instead of bothering to try to pronounce the Iheanacho's (sp?) name. It's a shame because he was a great commentator, but it just feels like the Beeb are hanging on to him because he's an institution and they think it'll harm the MOTD brand to lose someone of that stature. Anyway, I always maintained that Barry Davies was a better commentator - I'd have kept him around and put Motson out to pasture.
