We can't have a world of winners, some have to lose for others to win. It's part of how
capitalism works.
People who are misfortunate in these situations choose to gamble on the market only moving in one direction. Upwards.
Nothing stopping them (in theory) to bet the opposite direction and cash in or a short position like today
