In the old days when the Euro Champ league was the European Cup

the winners automaticaly qualified for the following seasons competition regardless of whether they won the league the same season.

Only UEFA could come up with another cock up by not giving the winners an automatic entry for the following season.

UEFA the same people who meddled with the rules regarding players having to go off when injured and the ball having to be kicked out of play before a physio can come on. All it needed was common sense
by the ref !
