Wroth, the life and everything (well, boilers)

Anyone here know anything about boilers and thermostats?

Wanna replace an old dial thermostat with a digital one and wanna check compatibility. The entire Internet hasn't helped, so natural next step is to ask here.

Honeywell CM907. Amazon posting says it is for combi boilers only, which I don't have, but details suggest there is no reason why this is listed as combi only.
