In the unlikely event that I was ever to say I had 'a Prem team'...

...it would mean only that there's a team in that year's premier league (when we're not in it) that I hope do well. Last year, it was Hull - I was hoping they'd stay up - and I was cheering on Southampton to finish in the top 5. Wearing a shirt of a Prem team when you claim to support a lower league team simply makes you a glory supporter.

My wife used to have people - in Bournemouth - say to her all the time when Bournemouth were in League 1 and 2, "Oh you support Bournemouth? So do I, but who do you actually support? Like, in the Premier League?"
