and would go - and have gone - to watch if the City game was logistically infeasible. However these are largely due to accident of family (Exeter - where Old Woman is from) or experience of their fans (Baggies, Brighton) or where I live (Maidenhead, Wycombe).

I'd never, ever buy replica kit or anything though - I watch those games as an "interested neutral" which is an interesting thing to do as you're not so emotionally involved in the outcome. I end up being quite analytical.
