Aged 14...

Didn't even watch the game on telly. Unthinkable now. Memory might be suspect but I think I did a practice hike for the D of E award bronze award, or possibly a bike ride from Grantham (then home) to Bourne and back. Or something.

30 years on and the trip to Wembley will fulfill a longstanding ambition to watch Norwich play there. I can't call it a lifetime ambition because apparently the 14-year-old me, despite being unquestionably a Norwich fan, didn't even watch it on the box.
