The worrying thing is

That had we had a further 5 yrs of labour and gordon then its likely the economy would have continued into deep decline rather than start to mend- so the economy would more then likely have been even more f**ked than it was 5 years ago. There would have been less money to spend, so labour would have bankrupted us like greece, italy, ireland, portugal (all failed socialist countries) had they continued to spend/borrow at the same rate.
