I'd like to upgrade my iPhone 3G for one of the posh new ones. I've only ever

had two mobile phones so I'm a bit unsure about how to go about things.

Will there be a lot of prep? I'd like to keep my number and texts etc. I've got a pay as you go contract at the moment and I did ask about releasing it when I nearly changed contracts a while back.
