Well, the word "Italians" and the word "Latins" are not the same.

That's the point you're not accepting. There are ways and ways of expressing yourself, it isn't always the content/opinion that's the problem. Some words and phrases have a baggage that not everyone understands or feels. Just because you don't think something doesn't make it so that others won't either.
