Not a huge amount, but it's a bit more sly than before, which is probably not a little to do with camera coverage and the ubiquity of football. Souness has a past, which when he blames other cultures, he is notably ignoring. That does make him come over as slightly hypocritical, and blaming other nationalities and cultures is fairly bigoted and represents a rather ignorant way of looking at society. But then, he's a footballer, not a philosopher or sociologist and therefore maybe doesn't put the amount of thought into his words as he could. Unfortunately he has a very large audience who also don't think that widely and as a result take the "foreigner = cheat" line as legit. I don't think he's a racist, but his way of expressing himself isn't the least bigoted in the world...
