and extrapolate, we still don't catch them. Either way, 8 (our best run) or 14, we don't make it.

I agree, as you say, that things change for all sorts of reasons - fixture list quirks, injuries etc etc - but my point is that even if we carry on like this, it's going to be very very close ...
