teams' form varies throughout the season (like ours, although we're probably a fairly extreme case). If you look at the previous 8 games the form table would almost certainly be different (Bournemouth would probably have been the form team then, but their next 8 games weren't so good). If the last 8 games are different from the previous 8 why shouldn't the next 8 be different again?

Also, the problem with form tables is they are fairly subjective. Why is 8 games 'form'? Why not 6, 7 or 9 for example? You get a different table whichever you use.
