re istanbul, if you can, go to kumkapi part of the city and have a go on one of the fish restaurants there, User Posted Link was the one i went to, and take in the sheer bonkersnessnous of it all if it's warm enough to sit outside. and it does get pretty hatstand bonkers.

only ever overnighted in istanbul but hopefully going to spend a week there back end of this year and get my tourist on.
