I get all that. Indeed the main reason for the economic collapse

Was not the bailing out of the banks but the sub prime lending practice that started in the US and was allowed to spread over here without adequate regulation.

As I've said above I acknowledge we now need the income from these taxes because we are where we are but does not mean I agree with them.
