It seems that me that most professional footballers...

...easily distance themselves from the emotions of football and just get on with the job in hand, to the best of their ability. It's more of a job to them when they're not playing for their 'boyhood club's or whatnot than it would be for us fans. And the f**king wages help, I'm sure. Or more likely, that's one of the reasons they command el grande dineros y s**t.
