It's a good appointment but...

Will be interesting to see how things pan out. When Phelan left United he was very vocal in that he felt he deserved an opportunity as manager. Scholes also said he has no doubt he would be a good manager.

I know Adams was at pains to stress he wasn't looking over his shoulder the reality of the situation may be somewhat different
