As a Jew myself, I completely agree with you

Dave Whelan has done absolute s**tloads for Wigan: not just the football club, but the area itself. Yes, he's said some stupid things - but when I hear that said about Jews, I just laugh. It's harmless. It's not like he's going to march through Poland tomorrow, is it?

The UK is a fabulously multi-cultural, diverse place nowadays. But the media-driven overreactions to things like this completely miss the point. It IS PC gone mad. Most people are decent sorts who mean no harm; Dave Whelan is just another of 'em.
