Necessary but boring Excel help needed people...

...I have a column that I'm putting the track length of the records I'm playing tomorrow night and I wanna auto sum the column to see the total amount of music I have for that particular genre (different sheets for different genres) cos it's well boring adding up with the old calculator...anyone help pretty please cos I ain't got a clue how to set it up?..
